ON THE DAY
Mr Lopez (My school's media teacher) sent an email which included a link to a BBC News article about stars and fans who wore traditional to the European premiere, to cinemas etc, which you can read more about from here.
As Zipporah and I planned to wear traditional clothing, lunchtime was a rush. We then met Mr Lopez, and the rest of the students going, at 1 pm. Leaving the school, we took a train from Clapham South, getting off at a station, and from there taking a straight train from there to Waterloo Station. The left picture is of Zipporah as we were walking through the tube station.
Being as high as five double decker buses, you can see the building the train station (picture below).

From the outside of the building, there are posters of upcoming films, click here to see a quick video of the outside. The bottom floor (video) included a cafe, Ben and Jerry’s and a bar, as Zipporah, Victoria and I took in our surroundings. While waiting to go upstairs we took a group picture, which is as seen as you stroll down.
I knew there was more to the area, but we had to up stairs that resembled a celebrity red carpet with purple colouring lights (nearest picture, they basically they had stair and lights decor. lol)
The coloured lights changed to a red, with seats filtered to the lights, as a slideshow showing the titles of new films are shown. Including a till to pay for snacks and a glorious show of sweets (the one where you can fill your cup up). Snacks had no chance as Zipporah had heart eyes choosing from the range of options. We were given 3D IMAX glasses while entering the cinema.

Click to see the cinema screen before the film started. In between the usual cinema adverts, posters of individual characters from the film are seen, which you'd have to look out for before it changes. A stage light was then directed to a lady (video) who spoke about the conditions during and after the film, and giving feedback through their website about our experience on the film and staff.
The film was amazing, especially with the size of the 3D glasses and IMAX, it looked like it was fitted for your eyes to see. Being in 3D, everything looked so realistic especially the fight scenes. Any moving object that came out of nowhere, made me blink and want run out like I was witnessing it myself.
The film being finished, flights of stairs dwelled upon us as posters of films were displayed on the walls (including a black Panther obvs, 1st picture below). At the end of the stairs, there was a IMAX poster (2nd picture below). And Zipporah and I took pictures with the Star Wars figure (3rd, 5th and 6th picture below).

Definitely a great cinema affair to remember!
Click to see one of the students, Shantavia, having a mini rage while we were on the train back lol.
